High-strength concretes M700 and M800

Superior quality concretes Construction materials that rank highest on the strength scale are M700 and M800. These concrete varieties are well-known for their remarkable strength and ability to support loads, which makes them perfect for demanding structural applications. They are frequently utilized in construction projects like high-rise buildings, bridges, and industrial structures that call for exceptional strength and resilience.

Their megapascal (MPa) compressive strength is indicated by the designations M700 and M800. This indicates that these concretes are capable of withstanding high pressure without collapsing. The strength increases with the number. For instance, M800 is better suited for even more demanding construction requirements than M700 because it can withstand greater stress.

Selecting the appropriate high-strength concrete for a project is contingent upon its particular needs. Considerations include the load the structure will support, the surrounding environment, and long-term durability. Builders and engineers can ensure performance and safety in their constructions by making informed decisions based on their understanding of the distinctions between M700 and M800.

Concrete Grade M700 M800
Compressive Strength 700 kg/cm² 800 kg/cm²
Typical Uses Heavy structures, bridges, and high-rise buildings Highly demanding constructions, industrial floors, and heavy-load structures
Mix Components Portland cement, fine and coarse aggregates, and additives Portland cement, fine and coarse aggregates, and additives
Durability High resistance to weather and chemical exposure Very high resistance to weather and chemical exposure

Concrete M700

This brand’s concrete is heavy concrete, meaning it is extremely durable, which is important when building reinforced concrete structures with higher usage requirements. In industrial production, concrete is produced in accordance with specific orders. This concrete grade has ingredients that help the solution set more quickly and strengthen buildings. White cement surfaces are more resilient to different atmospheric factors.

Crushed stone, sand, Portland cement, plasticizers, and water are ingredients of concrete grade 700. The right amount of water to dry components produces strength. It’s crucial to add just a tiny bit of water so that the solution reaches the necessary strength.

Plasticizers are added to the solution to increase its mobility because, in contrast to water, they cannot weaken the properties of concrete’s strength. In concrete mixers at the production site, the solution is prepared. Ensuring adequate compaction and mixture homogeneity is crucial for concrete 700. Concrete of superior quality can be produced by adhering to the technological procedure for solution preparation.

Where it is used?

Heavy structures that need to meet specific standards for strength and moisture resistance are built using concrete 700. This grade of concrete is frequently used to restore buildings or to make emergency repairs to them. For reinforced concrete structures, which are used to build the foundations of multi-story buildings, cement 700 is utilized. Industrial flooring, road construction, and the construction of hydraulic structures are among the uses for cement. Concrete 700 has a very high strength and is therefore very expensive, so it makes no sense to use it to build regular buildings.

Characteristics

The strength class of Cement 700 is B50, meaning that the material can support 0.65 tons per centimeter. The solution can withstand negative ambient temperatures and be impermeable to water because of its dense structure.

Because there is a lot of cement in the mixture, the composition hardens too quickly. Plasticizers only temporarily shorten the mixture’s hardening time. This drawback makes it impossible to transport the mixture over large distances without a specialized truck fitted with a rotating container. Only workers who are qualified should lay the working mixture.

Advantages

Advantages of Cement 700 include the following:

  • due to its excellent aesthetic qualities, it is widely used for interior and exterior decoration of buildings and for the manufacture of unusual elements;
  • high strength of the material, which is especially necessary for the construction of large-scale structures;
  • has excellent water resistance;
  • can be processed with various materials;
  • makes it possible to use cement on all types of coatings without compromising their strength and integrity;
  • 700 cement is used when it is necessary to visually increase the space and make it more pleasant in appearance;
  • white cement has high resistance to negative temperatures;
  • although the material is expensive, it is quite affordable for many, so purchasing 700 concrete is not a problem.

How to work with the material?

When working with grade 700 concrete, certain conditions need to be considered because of its different composition from traditional concrete:

  • work exclusively with clean tools that are free of rust and mold;
  • for preparing the solution, you need to select only white materials, clay and silt cannot be used;
  • with further use of the solution for the construction of reinforced concrete structures, the reinforcement should be covered with anti-corrosion agents with a thickness of about thirty centimeters and no more;
  • for preparing cement, you need to use only purified water.

When these recommendations are not followed, the cement’s strength characteristics will decline, which will worsen the product’s performance characteristics as it is being built.

The M700 and M800 high-strength concretes are designed to provide outstanding durability and load-bearing capacity, which makes them perfect for demanding construction projects. These premium mixes provide greater resilience to mechanical shocks and environmental stresses, guaranteeing long-lasting performance in buildings such as industrial floors, high-rises, and bridges. When used properly, they can greatly increase the longevity and safety of vital infrastructure, offering dependability and comfort under trying circumstances.

The M700 and M800 high-strength concretes are notable for their remarkable endurance and load-bearing capacity. These concrete varieties are especially well-suited for demanding uses, like large infrastructure projects and tall buildings. Because of their durability, they are a dependable option when durability and strength are important.

The capacity of M700 and M800 concretes to tolerate high loads without losing their structural integrity is one of their key advantages. This characteristic lowers the need for frequent repairs and maintenance by extending the lifespan of buildings and ensuring safety.

It’s crucial to keep in mind, though, that these concretes’ extreme strength frequently entails more expensive and involved mixing and curing procedures. To take full advantage of their advantages, careful preparation and skilled management are required.

In conclusion, high-strength concretes like M700 and M800 are useful for projects needing extraordinary performance and durability. They can greatly increase the dependability and lifespan of different structures when used properly.
