Where it is used?

To get the solution ready, you’ll need:
- a container in which you will need to mix the dry bulk mixture with water;
- a drill with a special attachment (to obtain the correct consistency of sour cream, use a construction mixer);
- measuring device to maintain the correct proportions.
Use a steel or notched trowel for the glue application and laying, or a trowel-ladle (carriage) for aerated concrete.
Method of preparation
25 kg bags are used to sell dry mixes. In order to prepare the adhesive composition, the following calculation is needed: five to five and a half liters of clean water (i.e., 200–220 milligrams per kilogram) are needed for one factory package. Warm liquid (between 15–18 and 60 °C) is desired.
Following mixing, a lump-free mass should be obtained. After letting it "settle" for five to ten minutes, stir it once more. The glue is prepared in portions because it is only useful for a few hours.
Application method
Aerated concrete adhesive should be applied sparingly to clean blocks (i.e., no oil, dust, or grime stains). When laying, the joints’ thickness shouldn’t be more than 2-4 millimeters. Once it has hardened, the excess is either removed right away or chopped off with a trowel. In approximately ten minutes, the blocks can be moved (allowed with a rubber hammer). Use a light tapping motion to level the surface.
Please take note: Wearing gloves and protective clothes is advised to prevent the prepared solution from getting into your eyes and skin. Wearing gauze bandages or a respirator won’t get in the way.
Works in winter
In cold weather, gray winter composition is used for masonry. But, as we’ve already discussed, there is a limit to it (the temperature that is considered "overboard" is not allowed to drop below -10 °C; manufacturers typically advise against going below 5 °C). It is necessary to keep the temperature of the solution above zero in order to ensure good material adhesion.
Note: According to technology, you are not permitted to adhere frozen blocks covered in snow to one another.
Material consumption
According to experts, the amount of aerated concrete adhesive needed per m3 of masonry depends on the size of the "bricks," the state of the blocks’ surfaces, or how accurately their geometry is formed, and whether or not there are any flaws (cracks, chips, etc.).P.), in addition to the builders’ expertise. Practice demonstrates that 1.5 bags of dry base are typically used per m3.
